I can't help feeling like "fluff" isn't quite the right word for this one. Enjoyed it immensely.

You bring Ken to life a lot more believably than the majority of other writers I've read, in fact, I'm going to go out on the limb and say that you do the best Ken portrayals I've read^^ Straight to the favourite stories pile with this, because it's cute, and fluffy and *falls over giggling happily*

What a beautiful, sweet little story. You managed to keep the both of them in character and didn't turn either of them into the characitures of themselves they become in so many other fanfics.

*dies* I... love this. It's amusing and very Ken and made me feel warm, squiggly and happy.

The door, Ken thought, would never have dared to fuck with Aya: nothing and nobody ever did. -- This made me laugh so hard that my mother actually hit my back and told me to breath.

I loved the writing in this. As usual, you mix a perfect batch of good yet amusing descriptions (like the cat watching them, or Yohji's stalking), in character dialogue, and Ken's thinking coming through in the writing. I wish I could manage that level of cohersion. *sighs happily* I also liked a few of the more subtle pokes at Aya/Ken. XD Very amusing.

And... you have also tapped into my secret love of closets. >.>;;

I loved the No Smoking rule, too. XD And, "... hey, give me your lighter. I don't trust you with it." Another moment when I cackled and frightened my cats-- or at least made them exasperated enough to move an entire two feet away from the computer chair.

I also loved how it wasn't a "Jump in Closet, Get Locked In, Proceed to Smut" ficlet. It took the time, and embraced the characterizations, to make the gears actual start turning and get things rolling. That was half the fun, and I love how you make Youji and Ken interact. You really do write the best Y/K fanfic out there. *_*

Much love for this line, too-- "Of course you would, Youji thought, and he did so affectionately. You’re Ken. You don’t know any other way to be."

Aw. He's so right.

And the point where he realizes? And Youji makes a move? Holy shit, that was awesome. *bounces in fangirl giddiness* That was FANTASTIC. The kissing, the image of them leaning against the shelves with Youji's arms around his waist... I wish someone would draw that, it's a tender sort of idea. And that has nothing to do with my closet fetish at all, damn it! Honest!

Overall? So good. Though I love angst, sometimes its fics like these that make me remember why I like not-as-obvious fluff, too. *laughs*

I loved the pacing you used for this story, it kept it believable without it feeling too rushed. You also really captured a nice sense of intimacy and caring between Ken and Youji. I loved it!

Yay. Just... yay.

That has got to be the fluffiest, cutest fic I've read in a long time. And the anticipation of watching it grow from a little thought-seed into a full blown [long] one-shot just made it even better.

I love the way in which you write them. They're both spot-on character-wise. I love the way in which you can make Ken naive and unexpected at the same time. And I had a feeling that Youji had planned the whole thing, but I'm glad you confirmed it otherwise I would have always wondered. He's such a sneaky bastard. A wonderfully sneaky bastard, and I love him for it.

Loved it. Marvelous ending. More of a beginning than an ending, but that's how it should be. It was fantastic. Thank you for writing it!

This was... yoken behaviour at its best. Nothing blatantly over-sexed, character-depth made me have a happy mental melt-down, and the length--the LENGTH and the GORGEOUS pacing was enough to shut down all brain functions toward coherency for awhile. Everything was so logically done, details were love, and... yeah.

I loved this fic and adore how you give both characters more dimensions. Ken's speech is intelligent but still inherently him. And Youji is very much the ladies man, but you've injected a good deal of that suave sophistication into his mannerism through your writing, and--I'm beginning to babble. ^^;

Just one minor diction correction:

"Maybe it wasn’t the brightest of ideas to try and get a raise out of Ken right now but what the Hell, he was damned bored."

Rise, not raise. Raise as a noun doesn't have much to do with emotions. ^^;

That said, I better cut this splurge of good!writing adoration short. But since I'm in the habit of quoting lines that really stand out (read: that I shamelessly fawn over):

[“Youji, you didn’t fucking plan this—”
Oh, yes he had.] I've told you in previous reviews that I ADORE your wit, hmm? XD

[“You’re an idiot, Hidaka,” he said affectionately, granting Ken a soft, totally genuine smile. “Don’t change.”] I believe my inner fangirl wanted to hyperventilate at the CUTENESS of that phrase.

[Goddamn it, Kudou. Aren’t there easier ways to get a kiss?”] SO Ken. Love. Really. But, oh, upon quoting, noticed you're missing an opening quote. ^^; ::is an odd, odd person who critiques oddly::

And the ending. It pwned me. All my belonging are belong to it. That is all. ::is mauled for being a dork::

YEAH!! A new fic to enjoy! And it was so sweetly done too. I loved it. ^_^ Of course I'm interested as to how Ken's going to get back a Yohji for it. I hope you will write some sort of sequel for it. And congrats in writing a fic without Angst in it! I don't think I've managed it yet. I always throw hints and comments in just to satisfy that need.

Speaking of which, does this mean you can write more Angst now? Like maybe finishing Seuche? Or better yet a new fic with tons and tons of Kenangst?? *looks hopeful*

Well, anyway, I loved this. Sorry I'm not saying more as my brain is rathre fried at the moment so coherant and rational thought of my own is highly lacking. But it allows me to enjoy everything else so easily! Thanks again for sharing! ^_^
