This is a parody story. Back when it was written, 11 years ago, Medieval Takari was a popular genre here on ff.net. Like many writers in this genre, historical accuracy was not one of my goals. The characters are all Japanese and this medieval setting is mainly decorative with some sarcasm towards courtly love (Lancelot and Guinevere, Tristan and Isolde, etc.) woven in.

I was never much into Takari, although at the time I wrote this, I sort of thought the character designers had implied it was canon with Hikari's son resembling Takeru as a brunette. But I didn't much care. I wanted to write a Kensuke under the guise of a parody but my heart was really in the Sora/Miyako line I tossed in. Most of this is snark- I wouldn't be surprised if this is the only place you can find Iori/Arukenimon here.

But I'm glad my story made you feel something.

And Princess bitchy Kari was sentenced to death, along with her pathetic, treacherous knight TK! For you see, treachery is frowned upon in royalty, especially medieval times, so TK especially would've been exiled or killed!
