I don't know if this was intentional or if it's just my, er, choices of fandom, but I half see this as political commentary about homosexuality. I mean, it could be read as such - that you're using lycanthropy as a substitute. Except maybe for the "chasing cars on the A4" bit.

Anyway, I guess I didn't think it was that funny because of the way I chose to interpret it, but I did think it was well-written and showcased the Ministry's ineptitude very well. I suppose if I thought that the discrimination against werewolves (now totally separate from my interpretation of the story) was funny, it would be. I don't know. I guess I'm the wrong sort of target audience. _;;

LOL, after reading this, I'm surprised one of these people hasn't shown up to talk to my parents. :-) My friends all tell me I'm a werewolf and I'm inclined to agree with them. I howl spontaneously(sp?) among other things. My other friend falls asleep if you scratch her behind her ear. *grins* Yes, I know, we're screwed up. Great little fic!
