abuseI think that's one of the first stories that actually made me a bit teary eyed...

It was incredibly sad and heartbreaking. You did an amazing job with everything, and I love it.

abuseI actually read this story a long time ago and it made me cry. Shh...don't tell anyone that. I read it again and thought- I must be mean to NOT review this story. And the person who cried during school has my sympathies. You are an amazing author. Keep writing stories, you're one of my favorites and this story is on my archive. Please check out the stories there. Or my favs list. Seriously, by request do it and PM me. I'd like reccomendations. This story is so sad and realistic, the part about the candy-makers false apology made me so angry I wanted to strangle them, then shoot the bodies. Strip the bones of all meat, tear the limbs apart. Burn them and separate the ashes all over the earth or put the meat into one of Mrs. Lovett's pies. And then tell the world that there is no Edward whats his face and have then donate tons of money to build a new Wonka factory!

I don't usually cry while reading fanfics or even books, but this one got me.

abuseOhh...absolutely heart-breaking for the situation at hand, yet so heart-warming at the same time for the love that's so gently and fondly shared between the two. This is such a unique story--really it is. It's so--so...one-of-a-kind...

...my brain failed to conjure up a better adjective. Sorry ^^;;

Anyway, I can't tell you how much this touched me. Sometimes, the love that's shared between kin is even more heart-warming and tear-inducing than the love of actual lovers. This fondness between Wonka and Charlie was so gentle that it nearly broke my heart.

And you wrote everything so well! So descriptive and smooth, yet not so much that it distracted the reader from the main points. I really, really admire/respect/adore your style of writing. It's absolutely, undeniably brilliant.

Thank you so much for sharing this! If this fic was a teddy bear, I'd be cuddling it in my sleep! ^^ (er, yeah, I sound crazy, because it's 4 am right now, and all I'm thinking about is going to sleep. But I just knew I couldn't sleep without leaving you a review for this FAN-TASTIC story =P). I'm going to read it again tomorrow! ^^

abuseSuch a tragic story. My heart hurts and I'm tearing up. Oh gosh, the part that got to me the most is when the lying, candy-stealing bastards issued an official apology. I can just picture their faces and it ** me off so much. Wonderful fic. The transformation of Wonka to a 'carbon copy' patient in an asylum is so powerful. Excellent work with this.

abuseThat was one of the saddest, yet most gorgeous stories of Wonka and Charlie I have ever read. Plain words cannot even describe how wonderful this is. Thank you.

abuseBrilliant! That was wonderfully written. It was all very touching, and the ending was so sweet. I love the way you write, and your different perspectives on everything. It all just came together and I could totally see it all happening in my head while I read it. I almost cried! I look forward to more of your stories in the future! Keep up the good work! ^__^

abuseHow sad! Very well-written, although I was puzzled that a rival candy company would be allowed to investigate Wonka's factory, instead of public officials. Other than that, I was impressed with the story; Charlie and Wonka (he's the Wonka in the remake, right?)were very much in character, despite all that happened to them. As sad as it was that the factory closed down, I felt myself agreeing with Charlie that the public "no longer deserved Wonka's candy". This A/U was totally plausible. Well done.

abuseI have to say I very rarely review a story. In fact I only ever review those that have such an impact that I have to let the emotions out in some form. (Being a writer... if not a good one... the written word is always my first choice).

I have to say this story almost made me cry... the brilliant way you showed Wonka's lost soul, his lost dreams through Charlies eyes was heartrending.

I think that if there was anything anyone could do to Willie Wonka (probably my favourite character by Dahl) to destroy him it would be to take away his factory.

I think you have written the perfect piece here. And you are right... it wouldn't have had the impact unless it was a oneshot.

abuseThis is extraordinary, and all the more so in the way it stands out amongst the other...not so good CATCF stories here. Yours is one of the most moving, chilling, beautifully written stories I have ever read on this site, and I'm going to be taking you up on your offer of emailing you for the other chapters. Bravo.
