omasuoniwabanshi 2005-11-12 ch 2,	abuseI'm fascinated already and Aoshi isn't even really up and about yet. The idea of Aoshi as a serial child molester/killer is absurd, so I'm really looking forward to finding out how the mystery will be resolved. I can't really see him killing Misao either, but I can definitely see the police finding him mourning over her body and leaping to the wrong conclusion. Apart from Saitoh, the police portrayed in the RK anime aren't exactly mensa material! Angi was always a very sympathetic character. Of all the Juppon Gatana, he alone seemed to retain a shred of common decency despite his quest for retribution. I'm glad you aren't making him too perfect though. Showing his doubts and the ineffectiveness of his sutra chanting makes him more understandable and human. I like that you chose to use his P.O.V. It's working very well. The minor OCs are also interesting and well described. Good story so far! Write more soon!

Besides all the interesting prison interactions... hm... I think it really deepens the whole mystery of what actually happened with Aoshi to have everything discovered from Anji's perspective. Also I like how you show Anji's hard efforts are to truly change, because that kind of thing can not be easy. And I am also very suspicious about the Ainu boy. I halfway thought it might be Soujirou, until I read about his eyes... (Ah, now I just want to read the next chapter!)

I'm eager to see how the other prisoners will take to Aoshi. That and Anji's (possible?) lack of continued animosity toward him, considering what they know he's in for. Once again, I love the historical accuracy and I look forward to your next update.

I must say I thought the man would be Sano, not Aoshi, but I was happy to find a story that could also surprise me. And in this chapter I thought it was cute how you made Kenshin stop at Anji's in while wandering. Although I'm guess that boy (can't spell the name) the served the tea might me Misao in disguised. I'm just guessing. _> Can't wait for more!
