I like cassandra change of heart and the tender moment of alexander and hephaistion... and it would be neat if everyone else could witness the beauty in their bond. I hope you will continue to write this story!

This story is so beautuiful. The way you showed the thin line between love and hate by turning Cassander's hate for Hepahistion into love was indescribable. I have to ask, is there going to be a sequel of some sort where Hepahaistion finds out Cassander's true feelings? I'd read it in a hot minute. Thanx for writing such a great story.

Great confrontation of A and H regadring A's jealousy interfering with his command abilities. But their deep love shines through, no matter what! Even poor Cassander sees that!
Why is H's father so "unfatherly"? He acted like a sadist.
I would love to have a "prequel" to Chapter 1 to see how and why A's jealousy had come about and why he was so angry to start with!

Interesting plot. I like Milos.

And Alexander is just an arrogant, narcissistic, jealous little pup. And why is he being so nasty and inconsiderate to Heph.

In fics like these I often wondered how Heph could really have loved Alexander so unconditionnaly ... someone who not only takes him forgranted but comes across as mean, self-centered and insensitive, especially with the comment that "“... Milos he will find me. He cannot bear to be apart from me!” he laughed loudly and pulled the boy down next to him. “Trust me Mi…Curly he will find me. Come now boy; keep me warm!”

But I guess that there is going to be a lot of growing up in this fic and I look forward to more.
