Good story. And of course, Potter finding out that Dumbledore knew about the Dursleys, and sent him back anyway, makes no difference. I'm really quite surprised Harry didn't find a way to blame that one on Snape, as well. Or showed no resentment to Dumbledore after the office scene.

After all, Harry has learned very carefully that only Slytherins are bad. Dumbledore has made it clear by his indifference to anything that happens to them, especially if perpetrated by a Gryffindor. Alas, Minerva only cares about Harry. Why should Snape listen?
