WOW! I go away for two and a half weeks and this story turns into a monster like you said! But what a totally awesome monster... I love how you did the Willy-in-denial parts, because that's exactly what he would do. Keep going on your story; update ASAP!

*L* It is cute when they argue.

You have no idea how happy this story makes me-or perhaps you do. It's like the feeling you get when you bite into a particularly large and delicious chocolate bar with almonds in it...yeah, a lot like that.

At any rate, I am FINALLY reviewing so that I can tell you just how much I love this story. I'm always leery of OC's, especially if they're females...but you have proved my fears baseless and ungrounded in the creation of Veronica! She is AMAZING! She's dynamic, witty, and quirky-the perfect combination of the sensible, mature woman and the starry-eyed young girl who is amazed and enchanted by Wonka's world. I love her to pieces! Such a great character!

And speaking of great characters...you have done a phenomenal job of writing Johnny Depp's simply scrumptious version of Willy Wonka. You have all his little behaviors and mannerisms down pat; it's terrific. I know I couldn't write him anywhere NEAR as well as you do, and I've seen the movie 5 times. He's so cute, and hilarious! And I *love* the scenes with him and Veronica...especially if they involve the smoochies. *snerks* My favorite moments have to be Valentine's Day (naturally!), the easter-egg-tomb scene, and the part when she was kissing him as he sat by her in her room, and was starting to get freaked out...right before she tackled him. Go get him, Veronica! She's not going to let the crazy chocolatier get away so easily, is she...

Anyhow, this story is simply marvelous, because it's so full of Wonka-fied goodness, and YOU'RE simply marvelous for writing it, and for updating so frequently! And I hope Slugworth gets tetanus, for fighting with Willy. Shame, shame, shame.

Hmm...I must say, I was REALlY disappointed with this chapter's length. Really trumendously short compared to your other fantastic chapters...

I thought that was really mean of Willy to just 'yank' her off the bed like that in her condition, along with intentionally digging his nails into her scratches. *cries for Veronica*

Please update soon and make the chapter longer! You can do better, I know it! But if you must, I am willing to wait a certain amount of time/days before your next update, but only if it means it will be a super long, super sexy, super spiffy, super cool chapter 26, baby! Yea!

This is by far my favorite chapter.

Not only because of the humorous (and exciting heehee)ending, but just the whole set up. The scenario you created is so interesting, almost farcical, yet it feels so right and makes sense that this would happen to Wonka and Veronica. As unbelievable as them being buried together under a big pile of chocolate eggs sounds, coming from these characters, and how you wrote it, it felt totally believable. And it felt very in place for such a set up. Especially the lead up and eventual big kiss and reveal at the end lol. I think if Wonka was to have his first real big kiss, it only makes sense that it'd happen while buried under tons of chocolate lol.

It almost reminds me of couples being caught while making out in a pool or closet...except instead, here they are in tons of chocolate haha.

*sigh*...this scene (the end part with the removal of his gloves) just melted my heart at its shear simplicity, yet right on the money as this is such a big character moment for Wonka, and Veronica realises that.

I love the part in the end...I always felt that was so true about Wonka's char. Again, another moment where I feel you've really captured the essense of this character, and while keeping him in character, also bringing out a bit of rl humanity out of him.

o another great chapter.

I must say, i think out of all the romance stories I've read so far, this is by far my favorite. The story's romance elements have great pace, and at the same time are very meaninful, or well placed each time. It never feels frivolous. I never got that uncomfortable feeling that I get from some romance fics where suddenly things start developing with out any reason. IE "so and so and so and so fall in love in the very first chapter with out anything even happening, and they just knew and lived happily every after!"

I love that you waited until chapter 21 to have a really big kiss, and had smaller things leading up to it slowly before hand. That kind of slow build up makes each next step up much more exciting! hehe.

Thats one problem I often see with some fics too...they move much to fast and bypass all the nice lil romantic elements that come before actually jumping into bed lol.

That and all the humor that can come from it too, especially when dealing with a character like Willy Wonka.

For this chapter (24) I loved the lil humor in the end. We all know what's on Veronica's mind now, and possibly Wonka's, but what happens in the next chapter now we have to wait and see, huh? lol

can't wait for the next one.

I love the Sugar Plum Faire/Vernonica imagry, the chocolate egg scene - creative way to get those two in closer proximity of one another!, The Valentines Day dinner scene - removing the gloves was FANTABULOUS!

The Slugworth connection is just unbelievably delicious as is the very sad/romantic memory of Wonka begging the mother to be with him...

Not only are your ideas great your writing is wonderful...just keeps me wanting MORE!
