I love the way in which you included mention of Cordelia and Drusilla.

Fred's admission and acceptance of her burning scientific curiosity/need to learn was excellent, and gave her a depth that was sadly missing from the last season of AtS.

Illyria's use of Spike's mannerisms -- "'He's in me, love,' Illyria's voice fell to a familiar husky cadence." -- was unexpected and startling! And the headtilt was such a bittersweet touch.

What a facinating take on Illyria, kat. This is outstanding, and very well-written. You have Illyria's voice perfectly, along with Fred's sweet but persistant curiousity.

Definetly intersting. Spike being quite a bit older and a powerfull vampire it could eventually be more of an actual fusion of the two people. Anyway hopefully they'll stay as hints. Because I hate slash.

Well, I guess there was more. It was different and I enjoyed it.
