That was extremely well written. Your characterisation is, as ever, superb. I really do hope that this theory is correct; after all we can never be sure where Snape's loyalties lie... I found your portrayal of Draco quite fascinating, how he acted so differently to how he does in the books yet is still completely in character considering the situation. Keep up the good work, I hope to read more from you soon.

Wow. I am in a state of shock. That was one of THE best Half-blood Prince stories from Snapes point of view I've ever read. The relationship with Snape and Draco reminded me of the one between Harry and Lupin. I also love the idea of Snape being Draco's godfather. I liked how they both were kind of on the brink of loosing control but managed to hold it together (mostly) and I loved how Draco was kind of little-kiddish. Loved everything about it, really.

Well as I said before the story was fantastic but I'm not sure that I share you view about Snape doing the killing on Dumbledore's wish! Anyhow I wish I could beleive that but not quite yet! Look forward to reading the ER fic :)

You're in the same camp as my Dad (The 'Dumbledore must have had a good reason to trust; Snape will do the right thing in the end' camp). Me- I'm just very confuddled in my ideas of Snape, haven't a clue anymore. And I was taken by surprise that Dumbledore was killed in this book- I thought he would go, but not until 7. Oh well, once again I prove my inability to read authors. Hope your summer's going well

Wow! This story is really great, really beautiful! To tell you the truth, I believe that Snape is evil, but he'll change his mind at the end. Or not. Only Rowling knows, but tis story is so... I don't know, it's sad, but great... Loved it! And I think Severus must be Draco's godfather too...

A very well written one shot! I like that you stayed away from the fight Hagrid heard (Since it is everywhere in post-HBP fics) and instead had a conversation that seems to have happened before the fight. I really believe that Severus was acting on Dumbledore's behalf if not orders.
