Actually, I _didn't_ continue reading this. Those additional hits you have logged for chapters 6 and 7 must have come from other readers. (Believe it or not, most people who read a fic never review it.) Sorry if you were expecting a more interesting answer to that little mystery! Best of luck with your writings.

This is certainly an improvement over the first three chapters. The only plot element here that doesn't make sense(and it's a minor one) is "The last time anyone had seen Sakura Yamazaki was Momiji's wedding four years ago..." Sakura wasn't thinking of pregnancy when she got it on with Kusanagi, so she wouldn't have been tested - so why wasn't she in public at all in the early months of her pregnancy? There's a refreshing logic here in comparison to the early chapters, though sadly the fic cannot avoid being tied down by the fact that none of its basic premises make any sense.

That said, Sakura reuniting with her son is a superb emotional moment. The general quality of the writing also continues to be strong, though there are occasional faux pas like substituting "The brilliant scientist" for Matsudaira. (You take that mistake to a greater extreme with "It was then that Yaegashi spoke, relaying the entire bizarre story to his long-time friend and coworker.", a sentence which is entirely needless to begin with.)

Those do not change the fact that this is essentially a quality piece of writing, whose flaw is only that it follows a story that is inconceivable to anyone familiar with the cast of Blue Seed.

Wow what an emotional roller-coaster! Please finish this :) Its one of the very precious few good blue seed fics.

Well! It's nice to see someone still making updates to a Blue Seed fic. This section needs more attention from writers.

Anyway, problems first: The descriptions in chapter 1 are far too heavy. This is most notable in the unnecessary and drawn-out description of Sugishita's apartment. Fortunately, this problem is much reduced in the later chapters.

You mention that you haven't seen the Blue Seed OVAs(I haven't either), but a lot of this story seems to demonstrate that you haven't seen the last 7 episodes of so of the original series either. For one thing, Momiji matures a lot towards the end of the series; marrying Sugishita just to recover from a break-up is something she would never do. Also, the Japanese public learned all about the Aragami in the final episodes, so the whole deal with Himoru makes no sense. His mitama would have been identified as soon as they found him abandoned in the hospital, and the government would have taken care of it. Finally, the TAC was dissolved, so they shouldn't still be active.

And there are some issues with suspension of disbelief that have nothing to do with the final episodes. Someone leaves a note saying "I'm a famous idol who is about to disappear," famous idol Sakura disappears, and no one puts two and two together? As Sakura would say, "Unbelievable!" Also, the characters take a number of extreme actions that don't fit with their personalities. Which is surprising, because as far as the dialogue and general manner of the characters goes, you handle them very well. It's strange to read the characters talking like themselves and then doing completely OOC things.

So, I'm torn with this fic. The writing is, in general, very good, with a solid rhythm and good atmosphere. However, I just can't swallow most of the events; there's too much that contradicts Blue Seed canon or just plain doesn't make sense.

So exciting look at the updates.

I really honestly wish you would continue with this story. Momiji/Sugishita and Sakura/Kusanagi scare the hell out of me, but I definitely see the beginnings of a fascinating and satisfyingly mushy reunion brewing in what you have created so far. (And obviously your warnings gave that away too.) Why did you stop writing? I say do it for the Blue Seed section, if anything -- it needs more good grammar and spelling like yours!

I just finished reading the first chapter; this story so far is absolutely brilliant! I've really been enjoying it. ^.^

That was the best story i've read, and i usually don't like reading so yeah.
