I was confused for a while there, I thought that it was a message that foretold their future relationship. Now, after reading it 3 or 4 times, I realize that it's a comment about the moment. Interesting, and much happier.

teainapot 2006-10-06 ch 29,	abuseJust got enough free time to read all of this, and I'm amazed. I love all 29 of them, some more than the others, but 'Quiet Direction', 'Dreamers, Dancers',''Among the Dying Leaves', 'Gifts, and 'Springtime of Youth' are personal favorites. 'Quiet Direction' has this sweet, sad melancholic tinge to it that is subtle but poignant, and it is good to be reminded that the two of them just cannot be the same anymore, also that he isn't the only one who has to leave past desires. 'Gifts' is really touching, seriously, and to think that it is one of few that isn't focused on Conan/Ai relationship. Agasa is such an underappreciated and often ignored character both in manga and fandom despite how selfless and kind his character is, but 'Gifts' succesfully shines a light on him, and yeah, just like when reading Agasa's First Love case for the first time, I was one teardrop away from crying. 'Dreamers, Dancers' is just beautiful, there's no other way to describe it. There's a magic inside Ayumi's innocence and Ai's quiet fascination of it that is perfectly captured there. 'Springtime of Youth' is just funny and sweet. 'Among the Dying Leaves' and 'Speed of Light' offers one of the best characterization of Shinichi I ever read, and him having a verbal spar with Shuichi is just love. Patiently waiting for you to complete the last two chapters!^^

I think that, and I've thought the same throughout all of "31 Days", you portray Conan and Ai in one of the best, most canon ways I've ever seen. I'm also glad you brought Shu into the picture, even if it is just in this one, since he's certainly an important part of Shiho's past... and he's fun to read about. I'm hoping, as you only have two themes left, that maybe... (I'm getting ready to beg) ...you'll perhaps write us ConanAi fans at least one more sort of "fluffy" fic? My favorites of these drabbles include #1, 5, 7, 9, 19 and 22, all of which are very successful in being fluffy but very in-character for Conan and Ai. Even if you call this "crack", can you give us at least one more? Anyway, great job! (I look forward to your "ALaA" being updated soon, too.) ~Eevee-chan

But maybe drabble isn't an exact term for a 1200 words chapter... :D Anyway, I enjoyed it a lot. The word duel between Shinichi and Shuichi was just magnificent. good job! So, two more to go...update soon!
