I liked this alot, I can't remember what my initial reaction was anymore but the Tohma you write is pretty much how I've always *wanted* to view him.

Wow. This was simply amazing. The idea to draw a parallel between Tohma and predator, the dive into his mind, the little details that keep him in character and flesh out his unusual-ness... It was all very creepy, in a way, yet undeniably intriguing. I was drawn all the way through. Just amazing. And I really don't have anything else to say.

E. Tohma's scary in this... You have mastered the art of first person (so hard to do!!)and I'm left breathless. Fabulous job. ^_^

I love this story. It's exquisitely written. Plus, for some reason, I love Tohma more when he's evil. Most first person stories I read are horrible, but this... I followed along with it very well. I'm gonna go see what else you've written! ^_^ Awesome job!

Well, I enjoy Tohma's particular quirks, and rest assured, you hardly offended. Intrigued, yes. I've never seen quite this take on his personality, but thus far it's fascinating.

I especially want to congratulate you on the polished, rhythmic phrasing. In a monologue from such a complex personality as Seguchi Tohma, it sets a wonderful, mesmerizing tone.

There is one place where the mood was broken for me, and that was near the beginning. "Dig your nail into your palm, and smile." The switch between "your" referring to Eiri and "your" used as Tohma refers to himself is a little bit confusing. But I suppose I'm nitpicking.

Anyway, very well done! I'll be watching (and crossing my fingers) for additions.

Goddamn. This is pure genius. I'm in awe of your talent. I adore Tohma, and this story was an absolutely fascinating look into his psyche. Even though I don't necessarily agree that that's the way the Kitazawa incident actually happened, I still really appreciate it and am even convinced to consider it. I hate to think badly of Tohma, though! Oh well. Again, brilliant work!

I'm sorry to be crass, but this is possibly the best writing I've ever read. It really is nothing short of incredible. Tohma is awesome and fascinating. Everyone from his point of view seems so... God, I can't even get up the words to describe how good this is. I'm adding it to my favorites. You're an amazing writer.

I'll have to say, this story was very well written. The tone of this story, told from Tohma's view, was just brillaint and the theme of predators and prey leaves me with my own thoughts in the story. I think you did a good job at writing the character in this.

Hm ... This is definitely darker than I'd expected, but I liked it. Tohma is definitely a dark character, and I think my final impression of him from the manga was that he was zealously overprotective and ... possibly also possessive, which is definitely where you took this. I could definitely see Tohma in this light, which makes him even more creepy than I gave him credit for being. I'm not sure how the whole ruining of Kitazawa fits into the manga-verse. I never really got that impression, but it's plausible. Of course, what you've done is make Kitazawa more sympathetic and Tohma more sociopathic. I dunno ... Like I said, I liked it, and it surprised me. I definitely loved the way that you described Tohma as predatory, and the parallel between how he saw Kitazawa and how he saw Shuichi was chillingly perfect. I think the most memorable images, though, were of adult Eiri's reactions to Tohma's vist -- the dead wildflowers from Shuichi that Tohma throws out and Eiri's hands clutching his manuscript pages after Tohma slights them. What's most frightening is the hold that Tohma _still_ has over Eiri after all these years. *shiver* Thanks for sharing. I'll be looking to see if you have any lighter, funnier Gravitation fics. *scrounging*

I really liked it, actually. Tohma is one of my favorite characters, and I think this was fairly accurate in perhpas describing his true feelings.
