Strange - I had the same idea about John's abilities. It was entertaining, but... personally, I didn't really care for it. For one thing, why would John willingly just give up the ability to scan people's minds.

Cool one-shot to bring some closure to John Doe. Nicely done. I definitely liked the John/Stella action. You could see the spark there that she really liked him. Although I think that the writers were trying to link him to Avery, it really wouldn't have worked well, IMHO. Thanks for the story and I look forward to seeing more examples of your work in the future!
