I'm aweful at submitting reviews, even if I absolutely love something. It's a bummer habit to have, but there you go. HOWEVER: you shoved a line in here that I just had to review. When you had Marie say "He could be a murderer!" (paraphrase there, not a direct quote, sorry) I just had to push this button so I could say:: BRILLIANT.
The thing is, you get to reading a couple of stories - maybe a couple more than a couple, who knows - and you become insensitive. Like, of COURSE, Logan's killed dudes! Loads. He's the Wolverine, duh. But when you slipped that line in there you brought a lot of subtle ** together - reminded us (readers) that this is a story as well as a fanfiction. How can I explain this? I'm doing a rather crappy job.
Well: I guess the only way to go is simple. Marie is innocent. Great. We knew that. She and Logan are from utterly different worlds. Knew that as well. But at the same time, that fact that you showed us - with that simple phrase, "He could be a murderer!" - brought all that stuff together. I'm stil doing a crappy job explaining. Well, I guess that doesn't matter - you wrote it, you know what's going on - I'm just hear, trying to praise that line but somehow coming off instead as an idiot. :) At any rate...excellence, here.

This was brilliant! How you managed to put down their whole relationship, with both of them equally screwing up but managing to save themselves and make their relationship stronger at the same time was very good plus you managed to get Stryker involved as well. The back story about Wolverine and both of them struggling with it was good and the fight between them was nerve-wracking. I'm kinda sad that there is no baby but now they know what will happen when a baby comes along.

I love your story! I just read it for the first time, all in one night, and it was amazing!

Wow, so I've read this in the course of two days and I am smiling from ear to ear right now. I love me a long story and this is the longest and best I've read in my not so short life.

You had me at the beginning of the very first chapter with Logan's thoughts on the hitchhiker and from there it was one big roller coaster ride I enjoyed word for word. Oh yes, I did curse you from time to time for putting them through all this, for making them fight-for making me want to kill when Logan made her choose between him and the X-Men as they fled from Stryker's attack. Or the random bar trash there, grr. And I got stared at while reading all those little Rogan moments that made my little heart jump with joy (note to self: stop reading fics in public places, no good, will get me to an asylum some day). And the ending, though without a little hairy grumpy baby smoking a cigar, couldn't have made me any happier if the last chapter had been "My Big Fat Mutant Wedding".

This is a beautiful piece of writing and I want to put it on a pedestal for people to see it, for me to be able to come back and look at it in awe every day.Even more, I want to marry it. Unfortunately that's sort of impossible and illegal, so I'll do the next best thing: leaving this review as a sign of my fangirlish love and adding this story to my favorites.

Liked the twists in the story and all the characters were so believable, still I'm sad there was no Rogan baby, maybe in the not to distant future, huh? ;)
