i personally wanted a sanzo/hakkai (sorry, i'm just a sucker for the impossibles) ending but this is so beautifully written that i wouldn't want it any other way. i love the fact that you wrote them all in character (you know, none of that mushy OC-crap. And yes, fushigi yuugi still gives me the shivers. not always good shivers but yeah, it gets pretty "blah"-ing *sticks tongue out*). Anyway, this is really really REALLY wonderful and you just made my day a little bit better.

Okay I just read the ENTIRE fic...O_O... I loved it! I've not read the entire Saiyuki series yet, but this last part about doing what they want is very very good and hit straight home with me. This is gonna be on my favorites forever!*manic laugh*

Sorry I waited until the last chapter to review, but I just wanted to say that I really enjoyed this fic. It feels realistic, is very well written, and I like your handling of the characters. I also really enjoyed reading the insightful thoughts in your author's notes.

That was a pretty cool ending, if I do say so myself. It wrapped up quite nicely. I understand that it's difficult to incorporate romance into the Saiyuki genre (goodness knows I've tried and failed many times), but under the circumstances I think you did rather superbly. All very good 58, but too much of any pairing at once causes my brain to overload. Actually I've never had an opportunity to read much 39 at once so I can't say for sure... Anyways, the 58 in question all had muchmuch angsting, and fluff, and I can no longer remember where I was going with this, so it has little relevance to actually REVIEWING, so I'll just say Congratulations on Making it Work!

aw... This one is so angsty at the beginning and then it sort of falls over a waterfall into the fluff... to say the lease, the flow of the story was slightly disrupted, but it's cute nonetheless!
