Interesting diary entry from Jack, there. So everything in the village is not quite as it seems then? Jack certainly is better off staying there for a while, to rest up and train before going after Aku again. I shall now go and read another fic - I hope that there will be more of this story soon. :)

The leader of the samurai group that saved Jack and the other prisoners in the future was Buttercup? >_< Now that's a twist I didn't see, but should've. :) Also, are the future events earlier or later than the events of the present, from Jack's own point of view?
I can just see the girls having to enter this StreetFighter tournament (and of course, win it :D).

It's alway's nice to see a new installment. I was worried last week when your previous pages disapeared. Hope you had them saved somewhere.
Overall an excellant story.

That sucks. When I tried to find it last week, I wondered where it had gone to - now I know. Someone at FFNet admin needs a real kick up the arse for dropping fics without any warning. But how come you didn't have it backed up - you have to upload from your hard drive. Were you deleting the files straight afterwards, then?
One final word on the subject is, they also prohibit script-format stories; that could be another reason.
Well, I'm interested to see how this version will go - it seems to be almost a complete rewrite, with only the original characters (or some of them) kept in. I don't really know much about what's going on yet, so I'll wait to comment for another chapter or two. Great work, metalguru, and don't let TIIC get you down! ;D
