The entire time I read this, I was thinking it took place in Digimon 02 time frame. Finally, it clicked at the end, and I was like, "Oh." But it was good. Sweet. An enjoyable read.

Aww, sweet! _ You really did a great job at describing complication between brothers. I bet almost everyone with brother or sister had this kind of expirience.

[INTRO] It doesn't help that I haven't watched much "Digimon" (a point I've driven home _ad nauseum_ in my reviews, I realize), but I DID recognize the four-eyed kid. (Score one for the home team!) And yes, I do like him. I'm glad he's shown to be a mature, responsible, level-headed member of the Digi-Destined(?). It's the feeling I got from him whenever I do see the show. At any rate, the characterization was dead-on. [NOTES] (1) Brotherhood is never an easy issue. I know. Because I'm a big brother myself. Alpha captures the essence of male relationships, both familial and friendship, very well with this story. Recognize, of course, that it's not easy, crossing the gender line. This isn't as sexist of a comment as it seems on the surface. Frankly, I would be daunted by the task of writing a story about a mother/daughter relationship or a sister/sister relationship. Hats off for attempting it, pulling it off, and pulling it off well.
