Hm... not my absolute favorite of your stories, as it seemed to be dragged out a bit longer than necessary, but it was still really entertaining and well-written. (See, I can give constructive critiques, lol.)

One of the cutest FF I´ve ever read about my favourite character! your idea was/ is brilliant and the way you described his behaviour while being a six year old was gorgeous. I´ve read your FF over and over again and I´m still not tired of it!

What I especially like is that you brought in John´s math skills and that he can outrun Rodney.

I've never read this story before. Came across it from SGA story finders. I think you handled John with a mind of a little kid very well. It's extremely difficult to write Sheppard with the such a different mental capacity and make it 'work'. His difficulties with handling memories and extreme emotions was very powerful and I really enjoyed his scenes with Teyla.

I especially loved the attention to his math abilities and I was hooked my the mystery of the machine. I think it was a clever idea thinking that ATA carriers have different levels of abilities based on genetics. I know this was a very early story for you ad I'm glad you found LJ! Based on some of those impatient reviews you received, LJ is better place for reader/author interaction.

i'm fascinated by the whole ancient gene as well, and wish they would deal with it a bit more on the show, especially with how john's a natural at it.
