2006-09-29 . chapter 5 If you are going to restart this fic, so to speak, then how about a new direction with it. I mean, you can keep whatever you were going with a Ranma/Raven pairing; even if personally I'm a BB/Rae fan, but anything new is worth experiencing. However, how about giving Ranma a past with more ties to other Titans, even if indirectly.
Say for instance, after the failures of Robin and Terra as apprentices, how would it be like if Slade hears about Ranma and decides to look into it? I mean, if he were to try the same tactics with Ranma as he did with Robin, endangering his "family & friends" via nano robots, Ranma wouldn't be able to escape Slade's grasp so easily. For one, he has no tech-know-how, and two he doesn't know anyone who could help him free his family from Slade. Plus, if Slade were to use Ranma's honor against him, the very thing that means the world to him, but forcing him to swear, on his honor, alligence to himself, Slade would have an unbeatable fighter and "heir". Even one that could probably take on several low to mid-level heroes of the animated DCverse? What do you think?
If you don't like, continue as is, because I do believe whatever it is you'll write will be just a great a read as ever. After all, these are only suggestions, and ones that can be ignored in favor to your own plot for this future story. Til then, keep up the great work. |
