It's so sweet, it makes me want to cry. And I don't say that for fanfiction much, because even most angst pieces don't make you want to cry. They just make you angsty. This is just so sweet and forlorn, there's hints of tears in my eyes! XO Curse you and your ability to write sweet fics that make you want to cry! Especially for the:

Claws.

Those deadly sharp claws he had thought were so gentle would eventually be ones to encircle his throat. Claws that would scratch, claws that would maim, claws that would strike to kill.

Letting Kagome help would erase the touch of those claws.
