I think you capture the characters perfectly and can't wait for you to finish it. Even though, I'm assuming that Jack and Doug get together in the end, like they did in the show, I can't wait to see how that unfolds in your story. I hope you haven't given up on it, and the long break is due to just being busy with life.

Well, despite my frustration with Doug, I was very happy to see the continuation of this story posted at last! Keep those chapters coming ... I want more! Doug's dreams were really interesting ... I hope you continue to use those in the story to portray Doug's psychology. They can be very useful in showing certain truths about a character who is reluctant to admit those truths himself. (The "I am so tired of being lonely" line broke my heart!) Can't wait to see where you take this. even though we know where they end up on the show I'm still waited with baited breath to see how you bring them together. Here's the obligatory SQUEE! I liked the easy conversation between Jack and Doug; you do a really good job of demonstrating the chemistry between them without being too obvious. Oh, and Pacey is an idiot: I don't care how sure you are that someone is going to stay alone forever, giving said person a cookbook titled Cooking for One is just mean! The only thing wrong with this chapter was that it was way too short! So we'll be getting an update soon, yes? :) -Sam

Been checking back often to see if it'e been updated, and was thrilled when chapter 5 was finally posted. Jack and Doug were no my favorite characters on the show, but i think that's what makes your stories interesting. can't wait to read the next chapter.
