Great story!! Rarely see Beckett whumps. Well written, characters were spot on, loved the action.

Funny I should find this story now... I just last night posted a story called "Climb" that actually has John and Rodney AT Disney World. (As kids, without knowing each other.) So when I read your Disney World reference I almost fell over. :)

Anyway, great story! Now I'm dying to know what Beckett snuck on board the Daedalis...

WOW! What a cliffhanger. Love the dialogue, Rodney at his snarky best, Carson being stoic, and John the glue that holds them all together. Great story progression, just when you thought the boys could breath easy...nice kitty.

Another great chapter. Love the comraderie. They're at their best when taking care of each other. Blasted cats. What the boys need is a really big dog.

Really liked how you started this chapter. Fast forward several hours, missing one soldier, one scientist and one doctor. Caldwell (of all people) heading a search. A camp obviously under attack. A blood trail. And a big cat. Our boys are definitely in trouble.

Thanks for the suggestions. I'm already hooked on this story. Love the character interaction. It's nice seeing John, Rodney and Carson in a setting other than Atlantis or on an off-world mission. What a way to end the chapter. Moving on to chapter 2.

This is an example the quintessential reason for fanfics. To cover what they can't in canon. The adventure itself was wonderful and in keeping with anything seen on the show, yet the character bits, like Chapter 1's set up, magnificient in showing slices of life on Atlantis. When they aren't being threaten by certain death (beyond the sword of Damocles of a Wraith attack at anytime). Things that make sense, like how to get around the item limit, or even the thought of taking a day at the beach. Makes sense, and was crafted very well. I love how this author does this so often in their work. Giving us canon-ish material, coving things canon can't.

Oi! What a whumping for those three - at least Shpe got off light this time. :)

The one thing that seems to be missing from Atlantis - a massage therapist to help w/ all the damn stress & injuries these folks seem to have.

You did such a great job on this, I think you really understood the characters, though I want to know what Carson snuck onto the Dedealus! You never said! :( . Still, your comedy was hilarious, and you wrote the characters personality perfectly.

i liked this story a lot. i luved the humor between the 3 men...even at the worst of times they still manage to be stupid & sarcastic...lol. that is soo them. great keep up the great work!
