I am very critical of most fan fiction writings, but I must say this one was amazing. It wasn't a long bore, your characters weren't bizarre, you didn't alter any part of Snape's personality unbelievably, and the story was very interesting.

I like the memory of Snape and Airelle's first encounter - he got what was coming to him.

"Excalibur" is a lovely name for an owl, better than "Snowball" or some of the other, less imaginative names authors love to give HP animals. Your use of Latin is awesome...I want to take it so bad...

I love that song from "Anastasia".

Favorite lines:

"I meant metaphorically, genius." - I use the "genius" term all the time to my academically challenged peers :)

"She pronounced something that, thankfully, was garbled beyond comprehension." - inexplicables are always fun to read and write about...

"He did not complete her; friends were not for that. He helped her complete herself." - Good piece of philosophy.

Mushiness was fine in this - it wasn't too much at all. Though I'm curious as to what potion Airelle said could wait...

Beautiful... the relationship between the two friends is so perfectly and plausibly written. Again, I can't wait to read the rest in this series. It almost seems wrong that Airella isn't in the published HP world. She's such a wonderful character.

This was the first story of yours I read. I found it because I looked up fics with that title. Amazing how undescriptive and dorky my first review of you work was. I don't see why you are so shocked to be my role model. You are a brilliant person and you think too little of yourself. It doesn't hurt to have a little confidence in yourself.
