Sad ending to a great story :(

Hey, sorry for not reviewing earlier.

Wow, that was a powerful final chapter. I really liked how it ended. I'm not a big fan of suicide or anything like that, but seeing this happen was fitting in my opinion.

Also, of course pretty sad. Lloyd ending his life, Colette sacrificing her body to prevent Martel from entering, everyone dead...

It is unfortunate that very few people will remember them.

Anyway, excellent story. I really enjoyed reading it. I hope you write more stories in the future!

Ha, I was the first one on the list! Wow...It really was forever ago that you started this, because I remember **. Everyone died...really? Oh, and I hate you; I update worse than you, and I have better stories, but I haven't finished ANYTHING yet! Not even oneshots! So sad. I should get double thanks because I am one of your real friends, and I'm the only one who read this. Yes, it made me cry a bit when Colette died. It wasn't too corny, although I like lengthier paragraphs. Hell yes Martel kicks **. It would have been cool, however, if you didn't kill Lloyd and then wrote about the rest of his life; him living tormented, then finding redemption in the future through some random youngster, perhaps a reincarnation of one of his friends or something. Maybe finding true love. But that's just me. Wow...this is a pretty long and actual review. You better read all of it. Yes I am so awesome, and incapable of shutting up. No, a story about the afterlife would be lame. I do hope that you'll write another Llyod x Colette fic though. Oh crap, another wave (Defends against Kratos fangirls) Whew, those are a dangerious bunch. Especially the ones with the missels. Anyway, Great story, sad ending, kari-karee, maybe sepukku, I dunno. Ok, let's go with sepukku, because I want Llyod to die with honor damn it!

nice story, very nice infact, but so you know chapter 4 will not load up properly, it cuts out at the very beging about 2 paragraphs down.

i think though that you shouldn't have had lloyd kill himself at the end though, you should have made it so that he kept on living with his sins trying to atone for them :)

and since he became an angel he'd live forever so he would have eternity to do it. just thought it would make a good story ending ^^

*Sniff* I knew to expect the worst but *sniff* but I never imagined everyone would die, including Colette. Lloyd I kind of expected but everyone is dead *sniff*

Oh, went I say "worst" I don't mean the chapter or the story! In fact I very much enjoyed reading this. It's very well done, which makes the ending all the more greater. I just meant the situation was the worst.

Yet it is fitting for this dark story. Lloyd, the idealistic and strong-willed person that he is submits to his inner darkness, a stark reminder that all humans possess a bit of it. Even after he tries to redeem for it, he ends up killing the one he loves the most. It's just so very tragic...*sniff*

It was hardly corny if you ask me. Honestly it was a wonderful read and one of the best stories I read in a while. Sure it was sad, but as the song from the Slayer return moive, "Just be Concious goes: "HAPPII ENDO dake ja monotari nai toki ni ha namida mo ESSENSU na no" (Happy endings aren't what I want all the time. Sometimes tears are an essence). Once in a while, a good cry is needed *sniff*

(Geez, I used that same song line in three reviews already -_-;)

Erm, anyway, awesome job Rose! This is why I consider you one of my favorite authors! ^_^

What an ending! I have to give you credit...It's the first time I have seen everyone die and it's the end. Congrates on that! It made the story that much better! This has to be one of the awesomest stories I have read! It's sad and had its good happy parts as well. I enjoyed reading this story and well done!!
