This story is just brilliance! I haven't been so addicted to a story since I read some of Lady Rhiyana or Cassandra Clare's work! The way you described Lucius was spot on for this fic. So many people destroy his character by making him shout all the time and cast the cruciatus curse on his son without the slightest throught. All of the tales we are told of Draco all lead to that last moment. Draco's been taught, controlled and manipulated to believe the Dark Lord will make his father proud, fix all the problems... geez. Im so sad I only just read it now! I lvoe stroies featuring Draco and Lucius. Your Draco was awesome two. Harsh, but suffering under his father at the same time. You mixed the stroy up for the Draco lovers AND the Draco haters and wrote the mixture that I love (but rarely turns up). Fluffy Lucius drives me insane. Over sympathizing also drives me insane. Perfect balance! I'm going to check out the rest of your work!

I've always thought of him like that, I just can't uderstand why this fanfiction has no reviews. I will pass it on to friends if I can, I don't want to share it with anyone!

This is such an AMAZING fan fiction. It really is brilliant. You made me cry on four separate occasions throughout. I completely agree with all of your points, although I'm not sure I believe that Draco was abused in a physical sense, definitely a psycological one though.
I am so glad that HBP made him more than just a two dimensional character, and I love J.K. Rowling for creating 'evil' characters that have their own motivation, not just being 'evil' for the sake of it.
This is seriously good stuff. I hope to see more of it before the seventh book.

This really is a wonderful piece of work, meaningful and well-written. I have nothing else to add except that I have always agreed whole-heartedly with what this fanfiction explains. All victims are victims of other victims.
Greetings for your mother, she must be a wonderful person. I am proud and happy to say that I have wonderful parents too. Otherwise it might have been a lot harder to feel compassion for those like Draco.
