A great story. I liked the part where Sara was comforting Brass.

Lovely, very moving. I enjoyed the true glimpse of Brass in his bafflement and pain, and Sara wanting to help and knowing how. And the touch of GSR at the end is sweet too. Brass-Sara friendship is always a pleasure!

Wow. I love brass. And Sara. And Brass and Sara together (ew...not like that!) ...great character ineteraction there. Good job. Loved the last bit with Grissom as well.

I just happened to stumble upon this and WOW. This is so well-written. I could see this playing in my head as I read it. I loved all the dialogue too. I thought you had the characterization right on for Sara and Brass, well in my opinion anyways. Plus your OC was great too! Definately one of my favourite stories I've ever read! (and I read a lot, so that's a good thing :) )

This was a beautiful story, well written and poigniant. How sad so many children find themselves in this situation. Therre aren't enough Sara's and Brass' around to help all of them. And so often the people that should help don't believe their cry for help is real. Thank you for a powerful story with a delightful bit of GSR and generous helping of the power of friendship.

Hazelmom, this is just great. And many thanks for having at least one underage kid escaping the abuse - sometimes I feel like the fanfic in our fandom is too close to real life...I read for entertainment, not depression! I'm also tickled whenever I see Sara/Brass friendship - that way rocks.

Oh, Sheila. That was perfect. Loved the way you portrayed all three main characters. Sara related to Clare in a very realistic way, and I could easily picture thier conversation. Thank you.
