rozzy07 8/16/05 . chapter 1'Drift 'is a perfect use of a title if ever there was, as you have let Tony wander aimlessly away from the city, away from his job, his friends, his life in some sort of limbo. His anchor, his job, his friends are what makes his life real and it was good to see him return to it, the solidness of it all at the end. Again, you leave me always wanting more. |
 Lucygoosey 8/15/05 . chapter 1It wasn't post-Twilight at all. Nice twist. |
Little Lunar Wolf 8/15/05 . chapter 1Great little piece you've written. It was interesting to read the way you've written Tony. To most a vacation would be a welcome change from the bustle of everyday life. In Tony's case it looks as though he isn't really taking that sterotypical vacation that so many think he would.
A great read. |
Karieflybabe 8/14/05 . chapter 1Nice little ramble you got there, Hun. See ya in the next one. |
gotmilk 8/14/05 . chapter 1This isn't pointless. It's an interesting, if not random, look into Tony and his thoughts. Always a unique experience that I enjoy. Maybe not so much as a huge epic centered around Tony, but enjoyable nevertheless. |
shywr1ter 8/14/05 . chapter 1“'We pack light,' she says, following his gaze. But she’s got her entire life in there and it seems incredibly small. Stripped-down. Lonely.
"He’s just on vacation, himself."
One of the many effective statements, here, of Tony's denial. Intriguing story; another glimpse of the more complex, restless man under the adolescent veneer, the Tony you've been developing here. And in this one, it appears that Gibbs is suspicious of Tony having just this reaction to heading off, on his own...?
Thanks yet again. |
Rinne 8/14/05 . chapter 1Not pointless. Nice character study. |
kate98 8/14/05 . chapter 1This is a different style for you - at least from what I've read. Abrupt and halting, which wouldn't work for everything, but works for this marvellously. It's one of those stories where you forget you're reading fan fic, and it's just a story... a good, gripping story. It definitely held my attention from start to finish. |
