I always thought it was funny that one of the reasons Kuno is considered insane is that he does not believe that someones gender can change depending on the weather.

I always pictured Kuno sitting in a psychiatrists office and suddenly saying "I hast discovered thine solution, When the evil sorcerer is splashed with water he transforms into the pigtailed girl!" and then the psychiatrist (who's not local) convinces him it was a trick of the light. and ups the dosage of his drugs.

Interesting story. It could be a beginning of a good AU. But Kuno probably wasn't completly right: 1. Jusenkyo curses do exist. Even if Genma's and Ryoga's curse were "Ranma"'s sorcery, the curses of Shampoo and Mousse are not. 2. "Ranma" didn't change Akane's feelings to Kuno. They were the same before he came. I would create this background to this story: Genma had a daughter, not a son. The was no seppuku contract, Genma took his daughter without Nodoka's knowledge. He made a pact with a demon to change Ranma's sex. Ranma was possessed by the demon for more than 10 years. When Ranma fell into the cursed spring, the demon lost control over her because he could only control her male form. But the dragon whisker enabled him to remain in control when Ranma becomes female. Cologne knows the truth but she hasn't done anything yet. Maybe Happosai knows the truth too. Ranma wouldn't love Kuno if she were free but she might love somebody else (probably Ryoga). If Ranma loses the dragon whisker she will be free in her female form.

Kuno's right? Scary. Surely that heralds the end of the world?

this is really disturbing, dude. very. but nonetheless, it was cool and dark and brooding and just great... i know that it isn't likely to happen to the series or anything, but it just might in real life...

so nice , such a marvolus fic must be congradulated for such decription, and a sweet plot too. sucks that you killed off kuno, but whats in a one shot?

great story -- i have never read anything about tatewaki in this light before. and as much as i love ranma, i do think that you did a really great job in "re-evaluating" his character, so to speak.

so am i right to think that in the end, ranko is in fact the real person and not ranma?

i have this feeling that this was intended to be a one-shot, but it would be nice and interesting if you would continued this. this is such an original idea. yup, very much so.
