abuseVery touching, very true. Rosie would perceive Sam to be changed and yet not changed, she would see that he has reason to rejoice in his home and reason to feel detached from it. You captured the ambivalence very well.

abuseI like this chapter a lot. No one seems to pay attention to what happed to the characters in the very end, long after the story.

abuseInteresting little series that I really need to find time to read sometime. I'm only a few chapters in, but this is still going under favorites.

abuseI have to say that I am in shock that you've had so little reviews to what I consider to be one of the best collections of stories of our favorite Lord of the Rings characters. There have been times when I cried, and times when I laughed reading your stories...Please keep up with your great work! I so look forward to more.

abuseI have always liked your stories and this chapter is no exception - is this a character you've shown in Lesser Ring, or Tenant from Staddle, or the King's Commission? are you planning to write more about him? He's interesting and I'd like to know more about him.

I'll be reviewing here rather than SoA - I'm just really watching that site now for the people I don't see on LJ or via or Last Ship.

FYI - I'm Teresa Greenfalcon on SoA - I'd used a old Author name there - this is my REAL name and main fanfic account till I get my LJ properly set up.

Thanks,

Tracey

abuseAlthough short, these were very thought provoking drabbles. The fact that he was nursed so well by those who had taken him prisoner and then, ultimately, offered a new life amongst them was a great outcome to the tale. I've always thought it a contradiction that Aragorn was both a warrior and a healer, but I suppose sometimes that is how things have to be.
Your use of the word 'troupe' (group of performers) did confuse me slightly in the first paragraph and I thought I'd misread what was happening (there is also an incorrect spelling of moustache).

abuseWhat I wouldn't give for some Honey Wheat Bread! My Mom makes the best bread, but she hasn't been making much lately so my Dad has been making sour-dough almost every week and it gets boring after a while! Nice story!
God bless!
