What a wonderful story! I love your solution to the Pete problem, and how you use it to bring Sam and Jack together.

I first read this story several years ago and just wanted to let you know that it is one of my favorite Sam/Jack fics.

Very enjoyable story, fit nicely into the season timeline without changing too much "lore" to suit the plot.

Ok, i have to admit, i am not liking how this story is turning out. You are a great writer and consistent, i just don't like the ideas in this story, sorry :(

Fantastic story, enjoyed it immensly.

You also have a devious streak, very carefully worded the first chapters to make everybody think she'd married Pete. But the ship came. Seriously, I so badly wanted to strangle the next thing I saw with a neck after they turned the stuff in 'Grace' into 'Chimera'... after setting everybody up with those moments in Evolution I & II and Grace.

I just have to point one thing out:

Pete fans? Is there such a thing... seriously. Are there any stories you have ever come across were Pete marries Sam and they all live happily ever after? I mean its hard pressing to come across one where he isn't: pervert/stalker/murderer/creep/homicidal nut/prick/tool/idiot/rat bastard. I mean it might have been kudos for the actor to net such a role in a big show like Stargate, and he definetly got to kiss Amanda Tapping (I'm sure that this has absolutely nothing to do with why I don't like him, yup, nothing at all!), but he has NO fans. None, nil, zip, zilch, zero... nada. (Daniel could reitterate in another 23 languages, Sam could expound it mathematically) In fact he has a negative fan base - I mean even bad guys are admired in science fiction, Pete has legions of people who want his blood - no small feat.

LOL, Daniel's complete shock when he found out that Jack was Pete made me fall off the chair laughing! I could so imagine Michael Shank's overgroomed eyebrows shooting through the roof of Cheyenne mountain!

I love it! ;-) I totally agree, while I think Pete was cute, he was just too much of a puppy dog for Sam. I could not believe that she said yes, and I was so happy for Threads. Now I'm just mad that Jack is in Washington, and we don't get a chance to see them getting together (but I'm convinced that they are!)

Wow. normally im not a fan of sam/jack fluff, although i, myself, am a shipper. But this story was very well written, i thoroughly enjoyed reading these chapters, it was well thought out and written to the point where it exactly matched the actual characters...keep up the good work!
