I hope too that Merry will be miraculously restored - or that the figurehead, at least, will be saved. Future color spreads will not seem right without Merry peeping out in the background!

I'd hate to see poor Merry die, though. I hope, when they return to Water 7, that Ice-ossan will have Merry ready to go once again. I can't think of the Strawhat Pirates sailing on anything but the Going Merry. And for being rusty, this is a fine piece of work! The emotion and hope are so achingly perfect. Once again, beautiful.
Lina Darkstar 2006-03-30 ch 11,	abuseVery nice, all told. You have a good and light-handed grasp of Luffy, who's quite possibly the most difficult character to write for. I like your Nami as well, and hope you'll write more for her in the future. Your Robin's a bit wordy. Efficiency is important for writing her, I think- she's complex, to be sure, but she explains things in a clipped and focused manner. The more you meander, the more you veer towards Vivi. IMO. I eagerly await more.

It's a clever idea, too, to take just those few moments when he's conscious, and I love the way it's written. I hope there'll be more of these coming, I love your short fics.
