Damn. That was...amazing? Extraordinary? Prodigious? I really don't know what to write. I will say that you astounded me with "Ishmael Sings of the White Whale".

I couldn't believe it. I'm still in awe of the story. I really felt for not only Faith, Angel, or Wes but also B and Giles with everything they went through even if we only had the brief summary. I will say that this gave me a small chuckle: “No.” There’s a growl in the answer at just the timbre that always sends electric sparks right to Faith’s groin.

I hope you'll continue writing in the BtVS/AtS area.

To be Continued...when?! C'mon this is awesome, all dark and anguishy. I wanted to see what was Wolfram & hart's deal and who else was gonna die. But I can't know if you don't continue the story so please update.

Liz, I was just rereading this (went over to LJ for the last part) and had to say that as much as I love your Whisperverse, I think this is your best piece. Your characters seem closest to where the shows left off, and you resolve a few things satisfactorily (and a few others, not quite as - but hey, we knew not everyone could make it). To see Angel like this is heartbreaking, but at the same time I was left feeling optimistic for Faith. And I love the Moby Dick references even though I hated the book, especially because no cliff notes are needed. (Wes is *so* Starbuck.) This is, quite simply, a damned great fic.

Great chapter. Hope you update again soon. I can't wait to find out what happens next/

It is a great story, Faith and Angel are fabulous, but Wes is a little out of character, he is more like how he used to be in BtVS.

Can't wait to read more. You've set up a tantalizing and complex situation. I love the look at Faith being torn between Wes and Angel.

So Angel has basically gone to hell in a handbasket with only Faith (and ghost Wes) to help him. It's hard to believe they killed off Illyria. Faith hasn't changed much, but it's strange that Angel, not Wes, is the one relying on the books. I hadn't realized how bad things were on Buffy's side of the ocean, but it's hard to believe Andrew is a traitor. It surely looks that way, though. I wish Angel would feel some remorse (even just a little) for poor Lindsey. He didn't need to kill him--he WANTED to. I'm truly glad he's suffering.

Nice twist on Andrew being the only one to pop up in those final episodes.

Interesting... I don't usually like stories where Andrew is played as the bad guy (it just reeks of cliche) but you've really got something new and beautiful going on with Angel and Faith.
