| Sir Francis Drake's Heir 2008-02-04 ch 1,  | abuseHello. I would just like to tell you a story. This story may or may not amuse you. I am currently writing a rather evocative Amelia/Arrow fic. Yes you read that correctly. Now, about halfway through this process, my mind told me a thing. What it told me was this "OH GOD OH GOD OH GOD you're writing rock-people sex." Well, yes, mind, as a matter of fact I am. That was not very helpful. So I went off to troll the previously unexplored realms of TP fanfic on this lovely place we call t3h intarwebz. You may be wondering what this has to do with your story. This is a valid concern. You see, in addition to being an "Oh cruel world, my first mate/ BFF/ person I had a complicated sexual relationship with died angst angst fic, it is also an Amelia/Delbert fic. Surprise surprise. Now you see, in this fanfic of mine, Amelia has a line. I believed it to be magnifique. I still do. With this line, she is addressing Delbert. This line is this: "Good God, Doctor, I don't want to _marry_ you, I just want to handcuff you to a bedpost and eat marmalade off your stomach." Now, perhaps, you understand. And are amused. Or not. |
