well after a week, i finished all 41 chapters and this is really one of the best fanfic i've (and i read a lot). the only negative i can find is that i'm a bit confused about the plot of the story. i mean, is the story about defeating voldermort or about the relationship with black/snape/mckinnon. also you kinda loose the tension that occurs with the interaction with these 3 when the scene gets too long or too often.

but i do love what you've done with the cain/kerstan characters. i mean i have no clue what these characters are about and that's just awesome!! also glad to see you wrote a harry/draco pairing. really good decision since it's much more interesting how a domineering draco works out a relationship with harry without suffocating him. anyway, looking forward to the next chapter, and once again, great job!!

wow, this is an amazing story. I've been reading it over the last month, and now i realize its been over a year since you last updated. With experience with my own stories i know this usually means a premature end of a story. But PLEASE update! You've written too much to stop now!

Well... Captivating enough to make me read all 41 chapters. I'll have to keep an eye on this one now, to see how it all ends!

If I wasn't so completely and madly in love with him, I would cheat on my boyfriend with your fic. That's how amazing it is. How one has a love affair with a fanfic is beyond me but it's the thought that counts, right?

Anyway, I get a feeling that Kerstan is an evil little thing. I don't know why. Just a feeling. I want to say he's the one that let the DE's in but I kinda doubt it. Hm... Maybe he's pulling a Barty Crouch Jr. and is actually a Death Eater in disguise. I'm grasping at straws of course. The poor boy is probably completely innocent. Or is he? I think the fact that he block Severus is extremely suspicous... I don't find it as suspicous for Cain who actually seems like a good kid. Maybe he's not so suspicous because his father was a Death Eater and might have taught Occlumency or whatever to keep him from accidentally spilling deep, dark Death Eating secrets.

Enough with speculation. Your story is wonderful (One of the few I read religiously... actually I've lost touch with ffn so I'm going to have to say this is probably the only fic I read anymore WHEN IT'S UPDATED -HINT, HINT!)
