I hate the Buu saga, and I hate the way Piccolo is reduced to a babysitter for Goten and Trunks. In general, I dislike the fact that at the ending of Dragon Ball only the Saiyajins were important and all the other characters did not really matter.
So, I really like the idea to change the entire saga!
It is much better this way and far more interesting than the original story.
However, I feel very sorry for Piccolo. He is a mess without Konna on his side! Very emotional and well written!
I am not sure about it, but do you plan to turn either Piccolo or Konna evil through that magic spell or whatever it is?
Can't wait to read the next chapter! Just hope there will be an happy ending! ^^

I like the way you described the events, though sad as they may be. I think it was a good move to start with Konna's point of view, then move to Piccolo's, just so we can recognize the contrast. Excellent writing, as usual. Looking forward to the next chapter!

That was REALLY entertaining! I'm really glad you've rewritten the saga in your own original way. (personal note: even I despise that saga and everything that followed for the simple fact that it is so far fetched and most of it unnecessary, and there is no serious character development.)

First of all I took note of a few minor typos, just in case you want to correct them ("plaque" instead of "plague"; "Vengenous" instead of "Vengeance" - I assume you intended the noun and not the adjective (damn computer! lol! =D) - and the part were Dabura kills Kibito, you called him Kibito Kai; I think the title is reserved to the gods, and as I recall "Kibito Kai" was the name of the fused form of Shin and Kibito in the Funimation dub, if I'm correct.)

I really love the immensely sad overtones of this chapter; you really portray their depressed souls perfectly, which brought tears upon reading their individual feelings. And I most definitely love your diction and the use of short clauses and short sentences, which convey emotions and thoughts, making the characters, aliens or not, downright Human. This chapter is one of my faves also for the use of flowery language, or better, 'poetic' yet POWERFUL expression of Piccolo's mind in turmoil. Very well done!

As I suspected, things are proceeding towards reliving Darkness once again, but I may be wrong, since you definitely hold surprises in your storyline, which I came to love and appreciate very much since the very beginning. Keep it up! Always looking forward to the upcoming...

I seriously felt horrible for Piccolo throughout the entire chapter. It sucks seeing him so depressed. But it definitely makes for good reading, with all his troubled inner thoughts. I also love how he keeps saving her. Both times were pretty epic!

And it made me giggle that Konna was apparently upset that Piccolo ruined what would have been her epic "sacrifice moment". Ahh, I love those two. I hope they work things out soon. :)

And I don't blame you about rewriting the whole Buu saga. To hell with it, and GT as well. Ugh.
