Everyone else hates him, but I believe the "Snape is good" theory. This is the first thing I've read in his defence. Well done, great job with this.

Huh... I like! I had to read it a few times to fully get it, but... there is absolutely nothing wrong with some delicious subtlety. The best bit of this story was how very Snape it was. Too many people make him all tragically and over-the-top depressed and angsty about the event but... I like how he's considering the practical problems this has created. While showing remorse. It's a lovely blend that works for him. And I like the dash of hope there at the end.
