Okay I just finished reading this on my phone (I simply couldn't put it down) and it was absolutely amazing. It made me smile and grin so much, and I especially loved the epilogue. And I simply loved how Taichi said, "I am Yagami Taichi. I don't give up." That's so- him. I'm glad there was no Sora bashing (I don't like her but I don't like bashing of characters) and Koushiro being adverse against the relationship was realistic. Unexpected though.
I also really liked the whole magic world concept- perhaps you could expand on it further. It's quite creative. Kelimon was an interesting villian, and yeah, Taichi should just rely on brute force. Haha. But 3 hours picking a lock- man. But I guess I can emphatize with him- I've used a lot of time doing difficult things, like trying to draw and just sitting there for hours,till my neck feels cramped.
Overall, this is one of the best Taito stories I've ever read.I see now Yamato's so lucky to have Taichi. But that won't be long, will it? I mean, I'm sad and disappointed the sequel isn't Taito, but I'm ok with that since there's this story. Even though I was so damned happy with the Epilogue- it just tied everything up together so perfectly and I was happy Yamato finally had the chance to be happy. And the things Taichi wrote- his feelings, I could just tell he was in love. With Yamato. And that made me grin endlessly.
Sigh. I just...really regretted reading your Author's Note, you know? I mean, the other reasons are okay and it's your choice and your story, but the 3rd reason...
Well, it hurt. Like, literally. I wouldn't mind if it was someone who wasn't a Taito fan saying it but you must be since you've written them together, and got their personalities accurately too. So, I guess that's why my heart kinds of hurt. That reason- it was just like a bombshell out of nowhere, you know? To such a happy ending. Yeah, it's realistic. But I read your story to get away from reality. I really love Taito in 01 (currently watching the show in Jap) since I didn't watch 02. They are just so sweet and cute and sincere.
It's just, when I get into a pairing I'm practically devoted to it even after years, when I return to the fandom after a busy life. I just discovered Taito this year but I've already fallen for it. Which must explain this hurt in my heart. But I've read your other reviews, and I can draw a little comfort from the fact that I'm not alone, though I doubt the pain is of the same degree.
So, yeah. Sorry if I'm annoying you or anything, I really am usually not this mushy or emotional. I just felt I had to tell this to someone and since I'm reviewing, I thought I'd tell it to you.
Well, good luck with your sequels. :) I'm not gonna read them 'cause I'm a devoted, loyal Taito fan, so yeah.
Wow, this is epic and very enjoyable! :D The boys were quite adorable, though I'm glad you have a realistic outlook on 5th grade relationships. XD I'm a little sad that Koushirou was the homophobic one, but I've got high hopes that will be addressed (and maybe fixed?) in the sequels. In my mind, it's because he was jealous over Yamato taking Taichi from him ... (or possibly the other way round ...)
There actually is a stigma to being gay in Japan, Not just America, and Tai portrays it well. Very realistic chapter, you've portrayed the characters well to this point. Just that there's so much crying in most of the yaoi stories I've read.
MAN! Sora is MEAN! Eavesdropping? LOL. Nice chapter, I can't wait to see how Tai handles his 'Delusions'. To be honest, I kinda miss the action though. Hoping for more in later chapters.
I loved this. One of my favorite Taito stories. The epilogue made me get warm fuzzies in my stomach. That soon turned to extreme nauseous,however. I knew I shouldn't have read the dang authors note! XD
1. "done Taito to death" NO! I will not have it! Taito will *never* be dead. Even if you think it is, it most defiantly is not! :glares evilly:
2. I like variety too. In *other* couples. (ex. Jyoushiro, Mira)
3. AH! Please don't ever say that again! Tai and Matt have a hate/love realtionship, but the love will *always* outweigh the hate. They are :almost: perfect for each other. They balance each other out. Opposites attract, no?

Haha, I'm just kidding ((not really)). I will however NOT be reading the sequel. It will slaughter the leftover warm fuzzies. I love your writing style though, and will most definitely check out your other Taito stories.
