thsi was good, i liked it but i was confused about why james lied to lily about who he was out with when she saw him?

Very sweet! And touching that he would remember her wanting to walk in the rain.

A couple of things need fixing:

"only thing you could see on the waters surface was the feint glow that came " - two things: should be "water's" edge, and should be "faint" rather than "feint"

"Gryffindor verses Slytherin" - should be "versus"

"But I hardly doubt that’s gonna happen" - "hardly doubt" sort of negate each other; should either be "I doubt that's gonna happen" or "I hardly think that's gonna happen"

"Lily looked at is suspiciously" - change "is" to "it"
