Wow, great series! High Goon is so well crafted! It takes serious talent to go so Kirk-cliche and pull it off without a single eye-roll! Just the right amount of whump, friendship and humor. Carson and Zelenka were hilarious! Oh, Shep in his sheriff get-up.

ROFLMAOOL! ICB! Oh, that last line really got me. Great fic, so sad it's your last SGA one. Not likely you'll write more as this was written in 05, but a girl can dream, can't she? You did an outstanding job melting Sheppard's Wraith into Radek's old west. I loved it.

Sigh. You have such good stories and such a vivid, engaging way of writing them. I never want them to end. Once again, brilliant fic, and thank you very much for sharing it with the rest of us.

I was rereading this today and it's just as great the second time around, I can't believe I forgot to leave a review the first time! WONDERFUL, humerous with a plot to back it up as always(a combination you don't see that often in fanfic). Can't wait until your next installment!

Another absolutely wonderful gen Rodney & John fic!! This latest edition had everything: humor, angst, violence, death, & snake bites! Radek was the show stealer for me :D I can very easily picture him with his hair sticking up, acting like Clint Eastwood :) I loved the interactions between John, Rodney & Carson, especially since they are my 3 fav characters. I look forward to more of this series and the Guide series.

Wow, what a great story! So many funny parts. It's rare for me to actually laugh out loud while reading (too much time spent reading fanfic in public places) but there were a number of times in this story I just couldn't help it. I even clapped at the end for the last line! I wish I'd taken note of the parts I especially enjoyed as I read so I could do a better job complimenting you. Pretty much anything from McKay or about him being insane was good for a laugh, though I know I particularly enjoyed Sheriff John mentally recounting McKay's crazy story from the perspective of someone who'd never heard of such things. You did a nice job on that, I've often wondered out people from the past would interpret hearing about things in the present. You did a great job writing, keeping things interesting and oh so funny while using good grammar and spelling. You have me curious about your other stories to see if they'll explain some of the extra backstory things you mentioned like Chaya and internal injuries from Superwraith. Really an enjoyable read, and all in one chapter so I didn't have to hit next repeatedly. That's enough to make it a favorite. ;) Keep on writing!

I don't know whether to laugh, or gouge my eyes out at the image of Rodney as a stripper. I really want to know what kind of revenge Rodney has in store for John. He's going to be paying for "the bucket" for quite a while.
