Wow...just Wow! The sad part is that this is how it really would have happened in ER world. Oh how I long for the good old days of toilet paper on the shoe.

Very nice and I think that it fits in very well with how Ming-Na and NW portrayed their characters on the show.

:sniff sniff: So beautifully written! One of the greatest fics I've ever heard even though it was a short one! And I was listening to a really good song when I was reading this story, Edwin McCain- I'll Be. It just seemed so appropriate! God, I hated how the writers never showed why or how their friendship broke apart! And I'm really getting sick of Carby fics right about now, no offense to Carby fans! Love it love it love it love it, even though it was a bittersweet ending!

That's damn nice. It's such a relief to see something about Carter that isn't (God forbid) a Carby. I'm not very familiar with his relationship with Chen, but this was still well-written and I enjoyed it. Good job.

So bittersweet, but you're right; someone had to do it. I never understood what the hell the writers were thinking when they abandoned that connection. I hoped for a mention of her or something after she'd left, to know that Carter was still in contact with her, but TIIC couldn't even give us that. *sigh* Thanks for writing this, though. It was fabulous, as is everything else you write. :)
