That was good and no I don't hat ya for the ending.

I like it. A lot. The ending was a little shaky, where the girl opened her eyes. Perhaps saying she opened her eyes and saw her parents and then the doberman lunging, etc. I love BtVS and Resident Evil so I'm really interested in the next part.

Hm... on the 'connection' of the First Evil to the slayer line--my suspicion is that when those 3 shaman 'infused a girl with the essence of a demon', they used the First Evil -- which might 'explain a lot'...with a 2nd/3rd slayer in existence, then it's "presence' in the world is increased to the point where it can 'take over' or try to...maybe when ALL potentials were activated, it 'stretched' it so much that it was damaged somehow... or diluted its strength enough that it couldn't manifest anymore...

It's a great storie, I loved all the chapters until I saw chapter 7. I really did not like the ending, seeing Xander like that ruined it for me. I hope you post a alternative ending where Rose finds Xander in Cryogenic Suspension and gives him the cure. It could make a great sequal. I and many of the folks that R&R would like to see how he would react to everything that changed over the years, how Buff, Wills, Giles, Rose and the others would react to having Xander back, to seeing if he is the same old Xander or if Umbrella did something to him.

Think about it, it could be a great fic.

Great ending, it's nice to know she finally got some closure and Xander
is at peace. Well done.

Great ending

I was not to fond of the ending. It would have been better to have him
shot himself than to have his sister kill his soulless being. I was
never into Cain and Able stories. I loved every thing prior to
chapter 7. I'd rather have rose kill hill in his suspended animated
state out of mercy. That I can accept, just like a living will. That
is just my opinion

I hope you decide to write the story with Rose as the lead in a
followup tale. It would also be fun to write Buffy's experience with
the Stars. Nice passing of the torch story ending. Feel bad about
Xander though.
