For it being AU-ish I still really like it. I like that you manage to have Snape care a little without him going all weird and against his character, if that makes sense. :)

I like this short piece. I have already read it, I am sure about it - and I have enjoyed it once again now. You are right -Snape would find a way to tell Dumbledore. He sure did with the dreams. Why not about this? And well, why would the Order come to the station otherwise?

Oh, well, I admit that Snape is my favourite and I like it to read positive fics about him - but this is not a very much used plot. Thanks for writing it!

Good one. Who could believe Snape to really care. Not himself anyway. But he IS in character, and having seen Harrys miserable childhood in his own head, he was to act, wasn't he? Maybe you are overdoing it a bit, Snape trashing himself. A bit less of that would still have done the trick.

Very interesting. I liked this a lot. Very believable dialogue. And on a completely random note - I love your pen name! P.S. To the earlier reviewer (stars-n-moons91), I don't know if anyone has answered you, but AU Alternate Universe and it basically means that the story is straying far from the actual events of the book/tv show/movie etc. _

"Somewhere in the process of swallowing my pride, I managed to choke on it." I loved that line; it made me laugh! Very good writing, I must say, and great portrayals of both Severus and Albus. Thanks for sharing this with us, and I look forward to more from you!

Cute. Of course it never occurs to Harry that Snape was probably the source of the Order's sudden interest in his summer welfare...

It was well written, not SUPERBLY written, but a very good job.

The climx wasn't very...climax-y, I guess I could call it. All the suspense just to find out that Snape wanted someone to deal with the Dursleys... Igh.

Oh, and since we're on the subject of Swallowing One's Pride, I'd like to venture and ask a stupid question... what is AU?
