It's good to see the Four Friends again and to see Richard off on his own, even if we then find out why he'd set out. It's a sobering tribute to the brave men who choose the dangerous occupations they're in so as to save the lives of others, and I love how you've woven it into the Slayers' universe. Most of all, I'm glad Richard has the four of them with him during a time like this. As always, great job.

This must have been a very difficult story for you to write. You did so with great sensitivity, yet without losing sight of all that makes a story.

A little more sombre than usual, although obviously given the subject matter that's only natural. Your Tara is perfect, and your Bottie is probably what she was meant to be. As for your Dana she's comic genius.

Loved the insight into Council philosphy regarding Andrew (although as I explained in Cleveland Calling, he's trying to be tough to impress Faith). So you were almost right.

Lol.

But the twist in the end and the wet pants gag. Brilliant.

I just read this fic, and loved all the chapters. I liked how you used the characters that are usually passed over in fics. It was quite well written and very entertaining. I especially loved when they crashed the funeral and everyone started yelling about how they were meant to be with the teacher. Brilliant.
