"There are words in my mind That only repeat, And they trigger nothing, But a quiet defeat." Oh my God that was so sad. The Doctor has always been my favorite Voyager character; possibly one of my favorite fictional characters ever. True, he was obnoxious and rude sometimes, but he just had so much more substance than the others, even if he was a hologram. I think his existential angst is what drew me to him in the first place. I mean, how much would that suck to be brought instantly into existence and only have one purpose, and be forced to do it constantly? No wonder he was a jerk when he was first activated. Anyway, I'm rambling. The point is, I loved this little poem, because it shows that you obviously understand the Doctor pretty well. I know this was written a while ago, but I do hope you're proud of it. You certainly deserve to be.

Awesome! I think this captures the doctor perfectly, especially the "Where I swear to fulfill, though I've never read, A covenant to which, Someone said I pledged." Great job!

Great job! I definitely like your style! I have never had the chance to watch Star Trek, but the inner fight between Doc’s two sides reminding me of my favorite cartoon character Zee – the synthoid Zeta, whom human side fights his programming.
Very, very well written! You have a poetry talent, please keep writing!
