Anyway.

Well, congratulations, I suppose. You've written a story that I can't really find anything to complain about. Your characters are both likable and realistic, your plot is enjoyable, you skillfully avoided the usual groan-worthy cliche moments and you had some decent plot twists. And, of course, you understand the concept of grammar (and yes, I find it eternally frustrating that this is a valid compliment).

I'm actually a little disappointed that I didn't manage to call Knifr as the traitor - the signs were all there, after all, I just was distracted by the Arya/Trianna rivalry thing. Well played, there. On that note, I applaud your interpretation of weapon "at the root of the Menoa Tree" riddle, though I think I personally would use it literally, if only because everyone seems to avoid this like the plague.

There are a couple of things though: for one, what happened to Brom and the Vault of Souls sub-plot? I might have missed it, but I don't recall Brom's 'last words' showing up again (given, they're not actually in the book Eragon in the first place). It just kind of seems like an untied loose end, unless you're saving it for the sequel, of course. The other is in regards to Angela - her handing over of Nasuada seems out of character - though I suppose, given she isn't really developed much at all, it isn't necessarily a major issue.

At any rate, they are minor quibbles. Overall, your story has been excellent, and I can truthfully say this is one of the better fanfictions I've read.

This is a very good fic. The way you spun everything was nothing short of amazing. I really like the relationship between Murtagh and Nasuada, even if I'm not quite sure how it would be possible in cannon. Eragon/Arya is defianltly my favorite couple, and you managed to make it pretty believeable. The third Rider was a surprise, I would have never imagined something like that, or the stupidity (because I find no better word to describe it) that Angela made concerning Nasuada. The only thing I cannot understand the reasoning behind is Roran and Katrina as King and Queen of the new Empire, I don't think that's logical, even with Nasuada, Eragon and Murtagh refusing. But still...
I liked this a lot. Great work.

So I basically love your story. There is so much description it to teh point where I can see everything, but it doesn't overshadow any of the action, making it boring.

Very nicely written. I really like the way that you wrote Arya in here. It seems like its a side of her that we did not get to see in any of the 3 past books. She has an equal balance of womanliness and warrior in her nature here, and I quite like it.

Just on a side note: I'm reading this while its already complete, but I read the authors note on the previous chapter and I was disgusted with what I read. To have people write "juvenile shit" is absolutely wrong and I have a lot of respect for you for coming out like you did. I would get angry as well.

But anyways, amazingly well done, and I'm not even done yet!
