The beginning is just bee-yu-tee-ful! So much serenity and communion with Mother Nature and then... bang! Pain starts to flow through my own veins as I feel for Blondie. And for once, Starsky is playing Mother Hen :-). I liked this one a lot!

Great story! I like the descriptions of nature, and the use of hamburger was good too. But hey, are you still working on "Where the Heartache Ends"? That was the first S&H fanfic I ever read, and I really liked it! You should definately keep writing, your stories are good.

I loved this line, it was so heartbreaking:

Hutch buried his face in the couch cushion and let tears of agony bleed into the fabric below.
