You're completely right to have Kurama kill himself finally. I would have been upset on his behalf if you had done anything else. he's *struggled* through all that, he deserved the rest he's been begging for since the start of the story.

And though I knew it was coming, you still brought tears to my eyes. As I said before, you really are an amazing writer. I've read many Kurama suicide fics, or even just fics where Kurama dies (written one myself, in fact), but this one just managed to touch me. The way you had Hiei recount his thoughts and memories and feelings for Kurama was just superb! You did a perfect job explaining the truth behind both of your stories in this epilogue. Really, the notes at the end were just so I could understand your thoughts behind the entire thing. I'd pretty much figured the Suicide Note began from Fall and everything.

But really, you did wonderful on this. I'm sure if you're already on my favorite author's lists, but if not, you surely are now. Wonderful job! I await your next work of art.

i like this story, more the story and the phyciological stuff more than the yaoi, but it's sill good. i think thi one'll go under faves ^.^ i think i'll look into your other ones...

You really are amazing with the way you can write conversations such as this between Hiei and Kurama. Your words just drag me into this story with the possibility of something of this nature happening leaving me no hope of escape. Though, as Hiei pointed out, Kurama merely repeated his earlier claims in multiple ways, the fact that you thought through all of these ways is incredible. Sure, they were just repeats, but they seemed so carefully thought and planned out. Also, I love how you had Hiei end their conversation, and how Kurama commented on it and pretended to play along. Somehow, I don't think Hiei will ever understand what Kurama's going through right now. But as the fox said, maybe that's a good thing.

Just to point out one particular part of this chapter that I enjoyed... When you had Hiei speaking and then described Kurama as human with his demonic nails, that portion from the redhead afterwords was great. The way you had him describe his flaws showed his age, as well. If he was younger, he would never have revealed that nor acknowledged his acceptance of it, so it described his age nicely.

For some reason, I get this really bad feeling that Kurama will do something in the epilogue that I may not like. When you pointed out that Hiei should have realized the wrongness of the situation at the end, it makes it seem like Kurama hasn't given up his plight to rest, yet. I hope not, but I think it's a possibility.

I really enjoyed this chapter. All the different emotions passing through Kurama and Hiei, mainly were really amazing. You did a great job of getting Kurama's feelings and state of mind across. I really am hoping Hiei will remain selfish and not allow Kurama to just give up. Though, through his depression, he did give a few great speeches this chapter. Really, I can't even say how great this chapter was. Simply amazing! Update soon, I must know more. I must!!

Gah!! No, no, no! Not after all the progress that's been made! He can't just give up like this! He's made so much sense during this fight against Miru. He actually formed coherent sentences and toyed with her mind. It was so Kurama-like! He'd better not be a coward with this.

That being said, I don't quite believe he will die. I'm not sure what will happen, but I don't think he's going to die. Or maybe that's just me wishing he could have his happy ending, for once. Either way, this was an excellent chapter. I love how you had Kurama detail Miru's actions and feelings in such an obvious fashion. This was a severly interesting chapter. Update soon!

Onto other matters, this is a very good chapter. Things are really getting interesting between the three demons. It seems Miru is as emotionally unbalanced as she's always been. And still as childish. Also, it seems more sense is returning to Kurama as this goes on. Despite the fact that he began the fight with a decidedly un-Kurama tactic, he did order Hiei to preside over the entire affair normally enough. Update soon! I must know who this infatuation is with if it's not the fox himself!
