Wow, this is so sweet. I tried to find the song on Youtube for full effect, but couldn't find a decent video:( This is such a beautiful song.

I loved how you switched the words so slightly to fit with James and Harry. This way definitely works. But, considering the plot of the play this song is from, wouldn't it work with James and Snape as well? Or did you write this before HP and the Deathly Hallows came out. Oops. But, yes. It does work this way, too, as you said.

I'd heard the song before, in fact when I was in college 2 of my guy friends performed it. WHen I saw this story I knew I had to wait, download the song, and then read it. I was greatly rewarded for doing so. By the end I was in tears and sobbing. Bravo for the word changes that fit so wonderfully.
