Rosetta Penn 2009-03-13 . chapter 7Oh my gosh, I LOVE THIS STORY! I love your portrayal of Slade, after the first few chapters I was worried you were going to turn him into a warm and cuddly father figure, glad to see I was wrong. I eagerly await the next update. Very eagerly. |
missBENNETT 2007-08-16 . chapter 7Wow, this story is fantastic. You need to update this! The relationship (or lack thereof)between Slade and Terra is magnificently portrayed. Absolutely.

Axel Cratos 2007-04-27 . chapter 2That is the greatest Slade, Terra fanfic I've every read! I really like how u kept Slade in character the whole time. Well on to the next one! |
Rogue Rikku 2007-01-19 . chapter 7I like this story. I think that it's so real to the story of Terra presented in "Teen Titans" and you keep the characters true to how they are in the show. I don't think that it should be rated M, but it was still good nontheless. Good job and great writing skills. |
TatsuraChan 2006-06-21 . chapter 7Great story! You're a great writer as well as a great artist Remix! I'm faving this BIG time! |
Scorpio Serpent 2006-06-11 . chapter 7oh, I really like it! *adds to favs* Update soon! |
Who Else? 2006-05-11 . chapter 7 I have just been reading Azelma's "Cognitive Dissonance", which I think you and Darth Nat are beta-ing (?). Well! Two Terra fics at one go by two such acquaintances... I have no doubts at all about both your writing styles, and I must say the contrasting turns your stories are taking keep me on my toes.
It's been a long time since you worked on "Armor", and it started out a fascinating story, about the same time as your "2005 Super-Villain Conference" (by the way, you simply have to write a sequel to that, darlin'; or a prequel, whatever: the plot is great, wacky, and in typically dry Remix fashion). However, "Armor" has hit a few bumpy spots lately.
Your chapter titles are still poetic as ever; Terra, however, is behaving a little OoC and over-fidgety. Do you feel that she could tell Slade, "kill me and get over with it"? She might have some of Deadshot's ennui in her. Most people claim Terra would never have the nerve to go through with suicide, but I believe she's desperate enough to risk that since she just doesn't have the mental capacity to deal with suffering and adversity.
I'm not Terra-bashing, mind you. I have the highest respect for Tara, Gregor and Brion Markov. But the shamanic earth spirit of the earlier chapters (comparable to the wild untamed qualities of Storm, if you'll allow me to bring up a Marvel example) has dissolved. Terra's character is a lot steelier than the nervous Nellie we seem to be seeing now.
These are just thoughts on Terra's personality -- which is really very diverse, such that many writers choose to focus on one particular aspect. I'm not saying that you're wrong -- congratulations if you want to see Terra that way -- just offering a divergent view.
Whatever it is, though, keep up the humour fics! I loved "Freedom". =)

GDeacur 2006-05-04 . chapter 7I think that this might be the most well written fanfiction I've come across. If someone ever tells me that all fanfiction sucks, I'm going to use this story to show them otherwise.
Uh, anyways, this is now my favorite TT fanfic ever. Style and substance mixed into one. I liked the balance between description of surroundings and inner thoughts. I can't really give you any criticisms for this.
Theoretically, fanfiction should expand on what the show offers. But what you have here seems to offer much, much more than the show, making it seem like the TV series is the fanfiction. If I enjoy your work more than that of professional writers... you must be doing something right. |
